Lily Guesthouse in the northern suburbs of Bloemfontein is situated only 5 km from the N1, halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town, yet in tranquil surroundings.
PERSONAL SERVICE
We take pride in our true hospitality and excellent personal service. We’ll be glad to help with travel arrangements to and from the airport and other local destinations in Bloemfontein. We can also arrange for day tours in and around Bloemfontein.
GUESTS
We host a variety of different types of guests, ranging from business people, artisans, holidaymakers, international travellers, artists, families, sports groups and, of course, our loyal guests who return again and again.
ROOMS
We offer a choice of ten spacious en-suite rooms. Each room offers the following:
- Microwave oven
- Fridge
- DStv
- Air conditioning
- Electric blanket
- Bed linen and towels
- Kettle with necessities to make yourself some coffee, tea or rooibos
- Amenities such as soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion
The specifications for each of the individual rooms are:
Room 1: Family room (double bed, two single bunker beds, bath, shower)
Room 2: Twin room (two single beds, bath, shower)
Room 3: Double room (double bed, bath, shower)
Room 4: Double room (double bed, shower)
Room 5: Self-catering family room (double bed, double sleeper couch, shower, electric frying pan, crockery and cutlery for four persons)
Room 6: Self-catering family room (double bed, double sleeper couch, shower, two plate stove with small oven, crockery and cutlery for four persons)
Room 7: Self-catering double room (queen bed, shower, electric frying pan, crockery and cutlery for two persons)
Room 8: Double room (double bed, shower)
Room 9: Twin room (two single beds, shower)
(Rooms 8 & 9 share a bathroom and can be booked as a family unit. We do not book different guests in the different rooms – you can always be sure of your own bathroom.)
Room 10: Self-catering family room (king bed, two single bunker beds, bath, shower, two plate stove with small oven, crockery and cutlery for four persons)
All rooms may also be booked as single rooms, and family rooms may also be booked as double rooms. The king bed in room 10 can be converted to two single beds. Also the two single beds in rooms 2 and 9 can be converted to a king bed. If requested, we can provide extra beds in some of the rooms. The property is fenced in, with a devil’s fork fence and a locked gate on the street front, and the undercover parking is not visible from the street, so your vehicle will be safe.
RELAXATION AREAS
Relax in the lounge, in the garden, at the braai area or on the stoep, where the sound of the fountain and the song of birds will soothe your soul.
MEALS & DRINKS
Our famous Lily farmhouse breakfast and other meals are available on request (not included in accommodation price). For people who like the smell of their own chops sizzling on the grill, we also offer braai facilities.
We offer cold drinks and water for sale.
SMOKING POLICY
No smoking is allowed inside the building. Smoking is restricted to the outdoor areas.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- If cancelled up to 4 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
- If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
- If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.
- If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- There will be no refunds for early check-outs.
DEPOSIT
Deposit required is equal to 50 percent of the total of the booking.
CREDIT CARDS
All major credit cards are accepted (no debit cards)
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is from 14:00 on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is no later than 10:00 on day of departure.
CHILD POLICY
Children under the age of 3 years sharing a room with adults, stay free of charge. Children under the age of 7 years can enjoy a Kiddies breakfast at half price.
